The conference will be hosted at the Politecnico di Milano, the largest technical university in Italy, with about 40,000 students and 16 departments. The conference, the tutorials and the competitions will be conducted at the South (S) building, located at the Politecnico di Milano main “Leonardo” Campus in Piazza Leonardo da Vinci 32.
Directions to Politecnico di Milano
The campus is located in the scientific university area of Milan, with an easy access by the public transportation. Leonardo campus is close to the subway station Piola on the green line and it can also be
reached from the town center by the 23 tramway line.
- From “Stazione Centrale” train station: Take subway line 2 (green line) toward Piola (direction to Cologno/Gobba/Gessate). Once you are outside, follow the indications toward the Politecnico.
- From Linate airport: a cab to the Politecnico di Milano costs around 15 euros (the address is Piazza Leonardo da Vinci 32). Alternatively, take the bus to “Stazione Centrale” train station and follow the directions above.
- From Malpensa airport: Take the Malpensa Express train into Milano, “Stazione Nord” train station (prices and timetables). Once there, take subway line 2 (green line) and follow the above indications. The approximate time to reach Politecnico is 1 hour and a half. As another option, there is a bus service (http://www.malpensashuttle.it) from the airport to Stazione Centrale.
